Privacy Policy
How this website handles personal information and privacy choices.
Effective October 2025.
Website operator
This website is operated by Resilience Ventures Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation, registration number 10364132, under the business name Obsidiana Capital. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the website operator. This policy covers obsidianacapital.com, including the Obsidiana Dashboard; separate businesses and external websites may have their own policies.
Information we handle
When you browse, our hosting and security services may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, access times and security events. These records help deliver the website, diagnose faults and prevent misuse. They are not used by us to build advertising profiles.
Your browser stores cookie choices and, on the Dashboard, theme and refresh preferences. If you contact us using the details on the Contact page, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, organisation, message and attachments. Providing correspondence is voluntary; without relevant contact details we may be unable to respond. Please avoid sending passwords, financial-account credentials or unnecessary sensitive information.
The corporate website has no public registration, purchase or investment-subscription form. It does not ask for precise location, biometric information or health information. A separate collection notice will be provided if we introduce a service that collects additional personal information.
Purposes and recipients
We use information to operate and secure this website, remember your preferences, deal with correspondence and privacy requests, maintain relevant business records and meet legal obligations. We do not use correspondence for a new, unrelated purpose without the consent or other authority required by law.
Information may be handled by hosting and infrastructure providers, business-email providers, authorised personnel and professional advisers where needed for these purposes. Hostinger hosts the website; Zoho provides our business email. We may disclose information where legally required, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a lawful corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not use this website to sell personal information or conduct targeted advertising.
Cookies and optional content
The first-party oc_consent_v1 cookie records your choices for 180 days and contains no visitor identifier. Dashboard theme and refresh settings use browser local storage until you change them or clear that storage. Hosting and security services may also use cookies needed for site delivery or protection.
Optional TradingView, FRED and Hostinger Reach content is held until you allow the relevant service. Loading an external service sends connection information, including your IP address and browser information, to that provider. It may set its own cookies or collect information across websites under its own terms. Hostinger Reach is an optional feature; permitting it does not by itself subscribe you to messages.
Select in the footer or here to review or withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops further optional loading and reloads the page if needed. Cookies previously set by an external provider can be removed in your browser. Essential-only choices leave the corporate pages available; some Dashboard data will remain paused.
Browser privacy signals and external sites
When Global Privacy Control (GPC) is enabled, this site keeps optional external services disabled in that browser as a conservative privacy safeguard, including where an older saved preference allowed them. The legacy Do Not Track signal does not separately change our cookie controls. You can also choose Essential only without a browser signal.
Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. Review the policies of TradingView, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Hostinger and Zoho for their processing.
Retention, security and international processing
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including applicable record-keeping requirements and resolving legal claims. Retention depends on the record, its purpose and applicable law. Hosting logs and backup copies follow the relevant service configuration and retention cycle; email and correspondence are reviewed against continuing business and legal needs. Cookie retention is stated above.
We use access controls, HTTPS and appropriate operational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers and authorised personnel may process information in Hong Kong, the United States or other countries where they operate. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards for that processing; local protections may differ.
Privacy rights and requests
To request access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy rights, use the email, telephone or postal details displayed on our Contact page. Address your request to the Privacy Contact, Resilience Ventures Inc., and identify it as “Privacy request”. Give enough information to identify the records and the action requested. We may request proportionate identity or authority verification; we will not require you to create an account. An authorised representative may act for you where permitted.
Where Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance applies, you may request access to and correction of personal data. Data-access requests are generally handled within 40 days, subject to statutory exceptions and procedures. Any permitted access charge will be explained before it is incurred. You may raise concerns with the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
Depending on your U.S. state and the law’s applicability, rights may include access and information about processing, correction, deletion, portability, opting out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling, and limiting specified sensitive-data uses. We do not use this website for decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects about visitors. We will handle covered requests within the applicable deadline, explain any lawful refusal or extension, and provide an appeal process where required. To appeal, contact us with “Privacy appeal”. Exercising privacy rights will not result in unlawful discrimination; you may also contact your state regulator.
Children and policy updates
This website is intended for adults and business contacts. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If such information has been provided, notify the Privacy Contact so we can assess and remove it as appropriate.
We may update this policy when practices or legal requirements change. The effective date appears below; material changes will be notified on the website and by other means where required. Optional processing that requires new consent will remain disabled until that consent is obtained.
